How long does the free scan take?
The scan typically takes 2-5 minutes. You’ll see initial results immediately in your dashboard, and we’ll send a detailed email report within the hour. Some additional results may be added as we gather more comprehensive data.
Is the free scan really free?
Yes, completely free. No credit card required. You can run the scan as many times as you want. We only charge if you choose to proceed with data removal services.

How many data sources do you scan?
We scan 750+ data sources including major data brokers, people search sites, background check websites, property databases, social media aggregators, marketing databases, and search engines. We continuously update our list as new data brokers emerge.
Will the scan find all my data online?
We search over 99% of commonly used data sources. However, new data brokers constantly emerge and some smaller sites may not be in our database. This is why continuous monitoring is important—we check for new exposures regularly.
What if the scan finds no results?
Great news! If no data is found, your personal information isn’t currently aggregated by major data brokers. However, we recommend setting up monitoring to ensure your data doesn’t appear in the future as new brokers emerge or information gets traded.
What personal data appears in scan results?
Results typically include phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, date of birth, family member names, property records, social media profiles, employment history, and lifestyle data. The exact information varies by data broker.
Can I run multiple scans?
Yes. You can run the free scan as many times as you want. You can also run fresh scans if you think new data may have appeared. On monthly/annual plans, you get unlimited scans included.

How long does data removal take?
Most removals complete within 30 days. Some data brokers respond within days, while others are slower. We automatically follow up after 30 days if we haven’t received a response. Your dashboard shows the status of each removal in real-time.
How do you submit removal requests?
We use multiple methods: automated email requests, web forms, GDPR removal requests, CCPA opt-out demands, and certified letters. We tailor each request to the specific data broker’s requirements to maximize effectiveness.
What if a data broker refuses to remove my data?
If a broker doesn’t respond within 30 days, we escalate through multiple channels including GDPR complaints, CCPA enforcement, and regulatory bodies. We’ll continue trying different approaches until we get results or determine the broker is unresponsive.
Can you guarantee 100% removal?
We have a 99% success rate, but no service can guarantee 100% removal. Some illegal data brokers operate outside the law and ignore removal requests. However, our continuous monitoring ensures we catch and address any reappearances immediately.
How do I know the removal worked?
